The history of Bonza Bottler Day

Elaine Fremont, the founder of Bonza Bottler Day, saw an opportunity to celebrate life and create moments of joy each month in 1985. With her initiative, she gave herself a purposeful reason for parties and entertainment every single month!

To express her appreciation for the enthusiasm of Australians everywhere, Ms. Fremont held a contest to name a special day in their honor – and eventually chose Bonza Bottler Day as its official title!

On August 8th, 1985, this unique celebration was established with an inaugural event in Greenville – Elaine’s hometown.

To honor her memory, every month since Elaine Fremont’s tragic passing in 1995 friends and family alike gather around to celebrate Bonza Bottler Day.

What began as an event created by Ms.Fremont has morphed into a joyous tradition for many individuals near and far – all united with the single purpose of celebrating life together through good cheer.

Today Gail Berger carries on the flame ensuring that everyone can look forward to more fulfilling times ahead during this special day each month!
