International Cosplay Day is an annual celebration of the art of cosplay, where people around the world come together to dress up as their favorite characters from fiction, anime, manga, and video games. The celebration takes place on the last weekend of August each year and has been held since 2010 thanks to the efforts of The DC Anime Club association.
